Gorod 312 to release a new album

The Russian band Gorod 312 (City 312) is set to release their second new album.

The CD is likely to be titled “Obernis” (Turn Around), but the track-list has not been confirmed yet. Having recorded more songs that one disc can contain, the band is now deciding what to pick for the album.

The records include both the songs composed over the past year and the older pieces. For instance, “A Girl That Longed for Happiness” has already been rotated even on the Belarusian radio stations. On February 16, this song’s video was also launched on the Russian TV. The same song has become a sound track for the Waiting for Wonder flick, directed by Evgeny Bedarev.

In the first album, the band translated their songs into the language of the country where the CD was to be distributed. I know for sure that several songs have been translated into Belarusian, too. Unfortunately, it has not been revealed whether they are to enter the Belarusian edition of the album.

The CD is to be launched in the coming March.
