Government to cut bonuses to state managers for energy waste

The government of Belarus has introduced amendments into several resolutions of the Council of Ministers that deal with the incentives for the state-sponsored managers to save state's resources. The document notes that it has been developed in order to filfill the president's decree No 3 "On Saving".

Under the amedments, the wages of top managers depend on how effciently they perform as regards energy saving and the increased use of locally made fuels.

The document expands the list of reasons for cutting or even abolishing bonuses to top managers for their failure to achieve the government's energy saving targets, reports the Interfax news agency.
