Half a million tons of grain threshed in Belarus for a day
Harvesting in Belarus is being performed at a Stakahanovite rate.
Only yesterday the First National Channel informed about 3 million tons of threshed grain. However, the channel reported 3.5 million tons today. 40% of grain was harvested yesterday and the number reached 50% today.
Minsk Region has remained the leader – 954 tons of grain has been threshed. Hrodna Region comes second – 727 thousand tons. Vitsebsk Region is a harvesting outsider - about 300 thousand tons.
Hrodna Region is characterized by the best crop capacity – 54 centners per hectare (the average result is 30 centners per hectare).
