High-ranking official detained for $250 bribe in Belarus
The police detain an official in charge of hunting licenses.
He was the head of the hunting licensing department and helped a hunter pass an exam to get a state certificate. A criminal case was started against the official for bribery.
The official’s house and the houses of two of his accomplices were searched, BelaPAN reports. Investigators confiscated over $6 thousand and attached the property and two cars. All the three suspects were arrested.
