Homel resident arrested for 5 months for beating policemen

According to BelaPAN, the accused was drunk, he went to the shop and stole headphones there. He was detained by the security guards and taken to the police station. The youngster wanted to have a smoke, but the policemen prohibited him to do this at the premises of the police station. He ignored the warning and tried to start smoking. A policeman approached him at that moment, and the Homel resident attacked him and knocked him down to the floor.

The youngster was delivered to the police department then. In the car, he kicked the driver in the head and then started banging against the walls of the automobile. 

The court resolved that he committed violence against the officials of the internal affairs in order to prevent them from performing their legal professional duties.
