House of Representatives adopts law “On mass media”
The law “On mass media” has been adopted by the House of Representatives in its first reading today. It took 30 minutes to discuss and adopt the law. 93 deputies voted pro and only one person voted contra.
The draft of the new law “On mass media” is “obviously repressive”, has claimed the administration of the United Democratic Forces today.
"The document makes the existence of mass media more complicated and the order of the accreditation in state organs becomes stricter. An article regulating activities of Internet editions has been introduced in the legislation for the first time”, - is said in the statement quoted by BelaPAN.
