Information Ministry: Respublika quickly fixes issue, receives no warning
The Ministry of Information of Belarus did not punish the state newspaper for not printing information about the registration authority in the output.
Previously, Euroradio noticed that the issue of the newspaper Respublika contains no information about the body that registered it. At the same time, 4 independent newspapers received a warning from the Ministry of Informatio for the abbreviation 'RB' instead of 'Belarus' in the output data.
As Ministry of Information explained, the newspaper Respublika was not warned, as it promptly corrected the error.
An employee of the Ministry: "We are working consistently. When it came to Respublika, everything was already fixed."
The Ministry issued warnings to the newspapers Gantsavitski Chas, Gazeta Slonimskaya, Intex-Press, Borisovskiye Novosti, Reklamny Borjomi and Narodnaya Volya.
