International Day of Families marked today
It has been established by the UN General Assembly to turn the public attention to the numerous problems which a family faces.
The International Day of Families has been marked on May 15 since 1994. A special theme is chosen for it every year. Last year, it was "Ensuring Work-Family Balance". This year, it is "Advancing Social Integration and Intergenerational Solidarity".
