Іvan Shyla: "Malady Front" will not go to the ghetto it is being driven in
“Malady Front”, an organization registered in Czechia, will send a few more applications for a place to award the prize “I Love Belarus” at. Let us remind you that the award was appointed for February 14. It was to take place in a Minsk hotel “Crown Plaza” but the hotel’s administration cancelled the contract on February 4. According to the deputy head of “Malady Front” Ivan Shyla, the organization considers the refusal to be an attempt to drive the youth in a ghetto:
Shyla: We will send a few more applications for the festive ceremony one of these days. We will not cancel the award. We started it so there will be prizes and winners. We will never cancel the award. The only problem is we may inform about it by correspondence and pass the information privately. On the whole, we are being driven in a ghetto! They implied that we could use the headquarters of the BNF Party but I doubt we will agree to this variant.
Shyla also criticized the possibility of a street action as there would be “more policemen than participants”. According to him, it will be a game played by dictated rules.
