Journalist Barys Haretski is forbidden to go abroad, frontier guards make him get off the train
Belarusian frontier guards have made a journalist Barys Haretski get off his train on his way to a seminar in Kiev. Haretski is a reporter working for “Nasha Niva” and cooperating with other mass media.
He participated in the recent opposition actions and he was detained as an activist of ‘Malady Front” many times. Barys Harteski stood trial for membership in an unregistered organization and was fined for it last year. He paid the fine.
He says he has no debts and there are no criminal cases started against him at the moment.
