Konrad Adenauer Foundation to support opposition at Belarusian presidential elections

A German foundation named after Konrad Adenauer will support the Belarusian opposition at the presidential elections. The head of the fund, a European deputy Hans-Gert Pöttering has claimed it at a meeting with young Belarusian conservatives in Berlin. BelaPAN informs that Pöttering thinks that the fund will promote the democratization of Belarus by helping the opposition. The head of the fund also thinks that it was important that European Humanitarian University functioning in Vilnius should get an opportunity to return to Minsk.
