Law-enforcement authorities: preliminary version of Biabenin's death is suicide
Law-enforcement authorities are considering suicide as a preliminary version of death of the journalist Aleh Biabenin. As it was informed to BelaPAN by the Head of the department of information and public relations of the administration of internal affairs of Minsk regional executive committee Aliaksandr Danilchanka, Aleh Biabenin's body had been found at 7 p.m. on September 3 in a summer house located in the Dziarzhynski district. "Biabenin was hanging in a self-made loop, fixed to a staircase leading to the second floor of the house. A stool was lying nearby", —told Danilchanka.
According to him, "there were no traces of fight or external damage on the body". No notes were found. The reason for death will be revealed by autopsy on September 4.
