Likhavid postpones hunger strike
Mikita Likhavid's mother Alena informed on her son's decision to postpone hunger-strike till the moment when his appeal will be considered by the Supreme Court.
"Therefore, I call on Budzimir and Malaletkin, who decided to support Mikita, to take care of themselves and to stop the hunger-strike of solidarity", -- Alena Likhavid has told to "Radio Liberty".
According to Alena Likhavid, Mikita's lawyer Darya Lipkina met with him in Valadarski Street detention center and managed to convince him to postpone the hunger strike.
Let us remind you, the activist of the movement "For Freedom!" Mikita Likhavid was convicted to 3,5 years of imprisonment for participation in December 19 events by the Partyzanski district court of Minsk. Likhavid's lawyer has already appealed the sentence.
A famous blogger Budzimir and a Vorsha inhabitant Siarhej Malalentkin also went on the hunger-strike of protest.
