Lukashenka: Belarus ratifies Customs Code

The Belarusian leader has claimed it to journalists today, on July 3. The decision to create a customs union of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia was taken by the presidents of the three states in November.
According to unofficial information, the Belarusian Parliament ratified the code at a closed meeting on June 30 and kept it a secret. A summit of the Eurasian Economic Community will take place in Astana on July 4 and 5 and the creation of the Custom Union will be finished there. Belarus claimed that it would participate in it only on condition that oil custom duties for Russian oil imported in Belarus were cancelled.
