The leader of HC Minsk “Dynama, a Canadian forward Geoff Platt, has revealed the details of his might-have-been transfer to CSKA in an interview with “Pressball”.
Platt noted that he liked it in Minsk but players under the age of 28 could not decide their future in the CHL. A Moscow club CSKA got interested in him and started negotiations about his transfer to Moscow. According to Platt, as “Sportbox.ru” informs, Vyacheslav Fetisov personally asked Alyaksandr Lukashenka to allow the hockey player leave for Moscow. But the Belarusian leader did not give his permission.
