Lukashenka: economy must grow! (Video)
The Head of State wants the government to exceed the planned indicators of economic growth in 2015.
Alyaksandr Lukashenka wants the government to achieve higher rates of economic growth than it was planned in the basic documents of country growth for 2015. He stated this on Thursday at a meeting on topical issues of economic development.
Lukashenka recalled that the main directions of monetary policy for 2015 had already been set, and the most important parameters of socio-economic development had been approved.
Lukashenka: "The growth rates are low. But I want to warn Mikhail [Myasnikovich], it is the bottom bracket. We should not be guided by half a percentage point or one percent growth. If we have a very small window of opportunity, we need to add in growth ... There must be growth!"
The head of state paid special attention to the situation with exports and demanded that the government should inform him about the situation in foreign trade. "In order to live well, we need to sell," said Alyaksandr Lukashenka.
