Lukashenka expects Belarusian sportsmen to be a success in Sochi
He has greeted the Belarusian sports delegation of the ХХII Winter Olympic Games 2014 in Sochi.
20 years has passed since Belarus was represented at the Winter Olympics as an independent state in Lillehammer, Norway, Alyaksandr Lukashenka reminded. Our sportsmen won two silver medals there.
"Participation in the Olympic Games is an important event preceded by hard work and preparation of sportsmen and the corresponding organizations. Everything has been done and now everyone should do everything possible to be a success at the Winter Olympic Games,” BELTA quotes the state leader.
The Winter Olympic Games will be opened on Friday, February 7.
