Lukashenka orders to issue Eurobonds worth $2bn
Alexander Lukashenka has empowered the Council of Ministers of Belarus to issue Eurobonds worth of $2 billion, reports Nash Vek. A relevant decree was published on Saturday on the national legal internet portal. The Eurobonds will be issued in 2010-2011. They will be in circulation for at least five years. They will be placed outside Belarus.
Under the decree, the government also has the right to approve the emission of every issue of Eurobonds within $2 billion.
The Belarus' Eurobonds will be issued through Sberbank Rossii, Deutsche Bank, RBS and BNP Paribas.
