Lukashenka says there is no need for private universities in Belarus
When visiting the Students' Village in Minsk on Tuesday, Alyaksandr Lukashenka made several statements. Among others, the Bekarusian leader spoke out against private universities, reports BELTA.
Addressing international relations students from the Belarus State University, Lukashenka reminded that he had backed the decision to train qualified diplomats in the single university only. He also added that the experience of private universities failed to prove right. "We don't need univeristies which are swindlers and do not provide quality education", said Lukashenka.
