Alyaksandr Lukashenka has spent two days with the former president of the country Robert Karachan. According to BelaPAN, an Armenian edition “Zhamanak” has informed about it. This is not the first case when Lukashenka pays an unofficial visit to Karachan. “Zhamanak” reports that Lukashenka and his youngest son went to Tsahkadzor during his last visit to Armenia. They skied together with Karachan there.
The edition does not exclude that Lukashenka probably wants to meet the Russian President Dmitri Medvedev with the help of Karachan.
By the way, this is the first information about Lukashenka’s trip to Armenia in mass media. He arrived there on August 18, but there were no information about his meetings until today.
An unofficial two-day summit of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will begin in Yerevan on August 20.
