Lukashenka: We are interested in maximal deepening of interaction with EU
Alyaksandr Lukashenka accepted the credentials of 13 Ambassadors (Australia, Ghana, Guinea, Zimbabwe, South Korea, Nicaragua, the United Arab Emirates, Poland, Slovakia, the Philippines, Ethiopia and Japan) on June 6. He also commented on Belarus’ relations with the EU.
"This year has brought some steps on the way to the normalisation of our relations with the European Union,” BELTA quotes Alyaksandr Lukashenka. “We are undoubtedly interested in the deepening of the interaction with the European Union and in supporting the increasing dynamics of our cooperation.”
According to Lukashenka, good-neighbourly relations with Poland have always been and will be one of the top priorities for Belarus. The Slovak Republic is a very promising partner for Belarus, Lukashenka added. Minsk values Bratislava’s contribution ‘to the normalisation of Belarus-EU relations, he stressed.
