Lukashenka will not take part in Eastern Partnership summit

Alyaksandr Lukashenka will not take part in the constituent assembly of the Eastern Partnership in Prague on May 7. An Austrian agency APA informs about it referring to diplomatic sources in Brussels.
According to the European diplomat, there is “a gentlemen’s agreement” between Minsk and Brussels. According to it, Belarus will be represented at the summit by any higher official but the President.

As it has already been informed, a preliminary list of participants of the summit of the new EU policy will be discussed by Foreign Ministers of EU member states on Luxemburg on April 27.
