Opposition leaders to collect signatures against car tax
Opposition leaders Lyabedzka, Karnyayenka and Kalyakin are going to start collecting signatures on January 5.
They are planning to gather in Minsk Yakub Kolas Square at 12 p.m., UCP leader Anatol Lyabedzka told Euroradio. Signatures will be collected during the rally on January 5. The authorities have not allowed the rally.
Lyabedzka: "Those who applied for the rally will be there. The local authorities have not allowed us to do it. We have found an adequate answer. We do not need the permission of those who appointed themselves to govern in Minsk.”
They will collect signatures in support of the resignation of the government and abolition of the car tax, Lyabezdka said. They are urging drivers to join this action.
The car tax was imposed in our country on January 1.
