Makei and Sikorski support prompt peaceful crisis settlement in Ukraine
PMs of Belarus and Poland emphasized it during the meeting on August 28.
According to BELTA, the meeting took place during a two-day working visit of Uladzimir Makei to Poland. At the talks the topical issues of the region were discussed, as well as a number of issues on the bilateral agenda. The foreign ministers of Belarus and Poland agreed to continue cooperation and hold a separate meeting on the issues of bilateral relations.
On August 28 talks were also held between Uladzimir Makei and Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Poland Janusz Piechociński. The meeting was also attended by by Deputy Foreign Minister Katarzyna Kacperczyk and Deputy Economy Minister Andrzej Dycha. The talks focused on trade and investment cooperation.
On August 29, Head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry held a meeting with representatives of Polish business community. They discussed the possibility of joint investment projects, including in the field of industrial cooperation.
