MAZ Palace of Culture may become a venue for anti-communism forum in Minsk
The organizers of the anti-communism forum planned for November 3 in Minsk are going to pick the MAZ Palace of Culture as the venue of the event. The organizing committee has filed an application to the palace's management, seeking to rent the spaces. The organizing committee of the forum titled "Future without Communism" comprises: Pavel Sevyarynets, the leader of the Belarusian Christian Democracy, Ales Mikhnevich, the deputy chairman of the Party of the Belarusian Popular Front, and Igar Kuzniatsou, a hisotiran who researches the Communism crimes in Belarus.
On November 3-5, Minsk will host an international meeting of communist parties. The event is approved by the government.
In respond, Sevyarynets, Mikhalevich and Kuzniatsou wanted to demonstrate to the whole world that "Belarus will not be the outpost of the communist expansion in Europe".
Around 800 people from Belarus are expected to take part in the forum. Foreign guests are invited as well.
