Minsk City Hall seeks to close down Nyaklyaeu's organization
Yet another organization led by poet Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu has drawn attention of the authorities. This time, Movement Forward public association is facing problems. Deputy director Nina Pakhlopka told Euroradio that Minsk City Hall seeks to close down the organization in court. "I received a summons from the legal department of Minsk City Hall over declaring the Movement Forward organization's registration null and void", she said.
Officials refer to the president's decree that regulates the state registration and liquidation of legal entities. Lawyers from Minsk City Hall unexpectedly detected that the founders of the Movement Forward had filed false information about the legal address. The deputy director of the organization is in shock.
Minsk City Hall has already filed a suit to the Minsk City Commercial Court. The preparatory session of the court is scheduled for June 10. But today's problem of the organization that they are unable to enter their offices after the police search on May 18 against the activists of Say the Truth campaign also led by Nyaklyaeu. The offices remain sealed by the police.
