Minsk vendor has her $1 mln goods seized
Investigators found an illegal selling point during checks at the shopping facilities in Minsk's Savietski district.
The seized goods were estimated at as much as Br 11 billion. The case was under the control of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes at Savetski district police department and the tax authority office.
The goods were seized on the grounds that they were sold without cash equipment, imported into Belarus without registration of customs payments (foreign things were marked as Russian). As a result, the court ruled to hand down an additional Br 3 million ($300) fine for the stallholder, reports sb.by.
