Monument to Belarusian patriot, killed in 1965, unveiled in Brest

A monument to Adam Tripus, the stateman of the Belarusian Popular Republic and a partisan commander, has been installed and blessed in the oldest cemetery of Brest. He was killed in 1965, possibly by the Soviet security service. Historian Ihar Baranouski says that Tripus was found with a heavily injured head. The government banned any investigation and ordered to burry the Belarusian patriot immediately.
