"My Happiness" wins "Listapad 2010" grand-prix
The Ukrainian-German-Dutch movie "My Happiness" directed by Siarhej Laznitsa has won the grand-prix of the XVII Minsk International Film Festival "Listapad". The awarding ceremony took place yesterday in the Palace of Republic.
According to BelaPAN, the Russian actor Viktar Nemets, who played the main part, said that both himself and the director were natives of Baranavichy when he walked on stage to collect the prize.
This year the grand-prix of the festival has been awared not by the spectators as before, but by the professional jury headed by the Lithuanian director Sharunas Bartas.
