New driving permit can be obtained in Belarusian language

Belarusian motorists were presented with a new driving permits, with almost everything written in Russian. But, it will also be possible to obtain a new permit in the Belarusian language, Euroradio has learned. "It can be issueed in Russian or Belarusian. This is not a problem", officials at the National Traffice Police told Euroradio.

New permits will be introduced in December -- not in July as it was planned earlier.

The new permit will be a credit-card-size, according to recommendations of the Vienna Convention on Traffic Rules.
