No confirmation yet for Sidorski's resignation

The press office of the Belarusian president has not confirmed reports that Alexander Lukashenka allegedly signed a decree to dismiss Prime Minister Siargej Sidorski.
The Moscow-based business daily Kommersant on Saturday reported that the decision about resignation of the Belarus's prime minister had already been finalized and that Interior Minister Uladzimir Navumau could be appointed as a new prime minister.

The Russian newspaper referred to "an well-informed insider in the Belarusian leadership".

The press office of the Council of the Ministers refused to comment on the reports about Sidorski's resignation. “Mr Sidorski is at his working place. We are working in a normal mode," Sidorski's spokesman Aliaksandr Tsimashenka told Belapan news agency.
