No freeloader tax for Belarusians yet
The draft bill has been put on the back burner, as it is not included in the plans for 2014.
The unemployed were supposed to pay 2.6 million roubles to the state budget every year. The money could be spent on the social security sphere.
However, the 2014 budget draft envisages yet another amendment - the so called car tax. The government has not decided how to realize the idea of imposing a tax on freeloaders yet (although it was announced that the draft was ready earlier). MPs did not consider the idea either, Yezhednevnik reports.
