Official: Situation back to normal at Belarus-Poland border
The crisis at the Belarus-Polish border caused by the strike of Polish customs officers has been resolved, Belarus Border Control Committee spokesman Aliaksandr Tsishchanka said in a statement.
The situation has been put back to normal thanks to rerouting Poland-bound traffic from Brest to Hrodna and Ashmyany, he said. According to Tsishchanka, on Friday only 300 vehicles managed to cross the border against up to 1000 on regular days, reports Belapan.
The border control committee official said there were no queues on the Belarusian territory.
