One more step towards opening of EU representative Office in Belarus is made
A project of an agreement between the Belarusian government and the European Commission about the opening of its representative office in Belarus has been ratified. The negotiations took place on December 5 in the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affaires.
The deputy Minister of Foreign Affaires of Belarus Valery Varanetski and the head of diplomatic representatives of the European Commission in Ukraine and Belarus Yen Boug took part in them.
It was noted that the opening of a representative office should lead to development of friendly relations between out country and the EU. The project of the agreement will be sent to higher authorities of Belarus and the European Union, informs BelTA.
