Only 50 people signed Independence Declaration
The Independence Declaration signed by “the fathers” could become an exhibit in the Museum of the Belarusian State System. The deputy Minister of Culture announced the possibility of its opening. The Museum may soon appear in the Administration of the state leader, noted the official. However, the collection of signatures has slowed down recently: only 10 signatures were collected in a month and a half. The UCP leader Anatol Lyabedzka has told ERB that the Declaration is not the top priority now.
Lyabedzka: "The number of signatures is much smaller than the number of signatures collected in support of Ramanchuk. There is no deadline. The goal is to collect the signatures of the majority of those who are alive. As soon as it is done, a document signed by “the fathers” of the Belarusian state system will appear”.
As ERB informed earlier, the UCP leader Anatol Lyabedzka suggested that deputies of the 13th convocation signed the Declaration at the end of July. By the way, many “fathers of independence” refuse to sign the document.
