Opposition activist ends up in custody in Orsha

Dzianis Sadouski, one of the organizers of the Belarusian Christian Democracy party, has been detained by police in Orsha, reports Belapan.
Sadouski said on the phone that he was on a taxi van together with his fellow activists going to attend the unofficial Day of Belarusian Military Glory in Orsha.

The van was stopped by police who said that there were more passengers inside the van than it was allowed. Sadouski who attempted to get off the van was detained and taken to a local police station allegedly for identification.

He presented his passport, but it was not enough for police.
