Opposition candidates get additional venues for election rallies in Masty

Masty District Council has granted three additional venues to the local candidates from the Belarusian Christian Democracy (BCD) for campaign rallies after the candidates approached the local administration, Dzmitry Kukhlei, a deputy of the Masty District Council, told the European Radio for Belarus. Before this decision, there have been only two venues for election rallies. They were located in Masty. In case a candidate for a seat on the village council wished to organize a rally, people would have been invited to travel to the district center.

Now the number of the rally venues has been increased up to five but only in the district center.
