OSCE chairman to visit Belarus
OSCE current chairman Kanat Sovdobayev -- Kazakhstan's state secretary and foreign minister -- will visit Belarus in 2010, new head of OSCE Office in Minsk Benedict Haller told reported on Wednesday. The European official also said that yeat another important event in the framework of the OSCE was planned to take place this year:
Haller: “Firstly, a preparatory conference for the OSCE Economic and Ecological Forum in Minsk. Secondly, a visit by Kazakhstan's foreign minister as the OSCE chairman in 2010”.
The preparatory conference will take place on March 15-16 at the invitation of the Belarusian government. It will be the first even of sich height in Minsk. The Belarusian capital will be visited by delegations from every OSCE member nation.
