OSCE observers shocked at FSS presence at polling stations in Russia
State Council elections are taking place in Russia today. 11 political parties are trying to get to the Parliament. “United Russia” is a favourite. President Vladimir Putin is at the head of its election list.
Let us remind you that to be elected to the State Council parties have to gain at least 7% of votes. OCSE observers were shocked by a great number of special police officers present at polling stations. They said they had never seen anything like that before.
7 polling stations are working in Belarus on December 2: in the Russian Embassy to Minsk, in Brest, Hrodna, Vitsebsk, Homel, Mahileu and “Kletsk-2” village.
According to the Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affaires, more than 70 thousand Russian citizens live in our country. Half of them are registered in the consulate, reports “Interfax”.
