Owner of fantasy manor “Litouka” dies on New Year night

Businessman Syarhei Koval aka Frenchman died in his flat in Navahrudak on New Year’s Day. The man probably hanged himself, blogger Anton Matolka wrote. 

Koval became known because of his fantasy manor “Litouka” situated not far from Navahrudak. Not all neighbours liked the look of the manor – the businessman was accused of indulging ‘demons’.  The manor closed down due to numerous complaints in November.

"Litouka" was immensely popular with tourists.
