KGB prison rejects parcel for Baumgertner
Uralkali CEO' mother managed to pass only basics for arrested Vladislav Baumgertner.
Only a toothpaste tube, a toothbrush, soap and towels were accepted, Russian lawyer Aleksei Basistov said. The prison staff referred to Baumgernter's status – he was not allowed to receive personal belongings.
Basistov was surprised to find out that the Russian businessman is detained for 72 hours - not for 2 months. An appeal has already been sent to the KGB chief. The lawyers are waiting for Baumgertner's status to be explained now.
Three Russian and two Belarusian lawyers have already lodged complaints in order to learn businessman's status. The complaints will be considered in court next week.
