Parliamentary election campaign to kick off on June 24
The parliamentary election campaign will start on June 24, 2008, the Belarusian president's press office said after the meeting between Alexander Lukashenka and Lidzia Yarmoshyna, the chairperson of the Central Elections Commission.
The Interfax news agency reports that Lukashenka has received a draft decree on the advisers of the Central Eelctions Commission who will be introduced as new members of the commission, representing political parties that will run for seats in the parliament.
