Parliamentary election (online)
The parliamentary election in Belarus is successful. According to the Central Election Commission, the turnout was 74.31%. The biggest turnout was registered in Mahilyou Province – almost 81% and the smallest – in Minsk (about 61%). 110 MPs have been elected. Deputy head of the Belarusian Language Association Alena Anisim and member of the United Civil Party Hanna Kanapatskaya have made it to Parliament. The other democratic candidates have not managed to win.
A number of observers reported numerous election malpractices during the early vote and on the Election Day. They will give press conferences in Minsk on Monday.
