Pavel Yuhnevich sentenced to 15 days of detention be released before “Social March”
A youth activist Pavel Yuhnevich has been imprisoned for 15 days according to the decision of Savetski District Court of Minsk. He was released from the confinement cell only yesterday after having spent 7 days there for “swearing at policemen”. He was immediately detained again, reports BelaPAN.
The police claimed that Yuhnevich started using bad language while leaving Akrestsina. They also recalled that the activist had acted “like a hooligan” during the detention of actors and spectators of the “Free Theatre”.
The judge Ludmila Sevastyan returned Yuhnevich guilty of both “infringements”.
The activist will be released on November 3, on the eve of “The Social March”. So he may be detained again while leaving the confinement cell in order to correct this mistake in “arithmetic calculations”.
