Pazniak: struggle between special services is to be blamed for Biabenin's death

Zianon Pazniak declared his opinion with regard to the situation with the death of the "Charter'97" journalist Aleh Biabenin. It happened in Warsaw during the presentation of the politician's books. According to Pazniak, this death was unnatural and Biabenin was unlikely to commit suicide.

Pazniak: "On the other side, he wasn't a politician, or a public journalist who unmasked someone or got to somebody's bones. Thus, there is a question why he was murdered. Taking into consideration the style of work of the former Soviet special services, it can be admitted that this death was committed in order to sharpen the situation or to blame someone for it. It looks like they wanted to put a blame on Lukashenka, but it can also be the other way round. What I see here is the evil struggle of secret services of the East and the West”.
