Pesnyary refused to take part in Eurovision and Syaroha did not allow it to Sapatskou
ERB has found out the details of the semi-final selection of Eurofest.
98 out of 116 participants have been allowed to take part in the selection tour. However, Pesnyary and Maxim Sapatskou did not manage to attend it and their candidatures were withdrawn. The head of the project Alyaksandr Tsihanovich has informed ERB about it.
Alyaksandr Tsіhanovіch: “Pesnyary” refused to continue because they had not managed to prepare their song in time. Sapatskou was forbidden to do it by his administration. He is an actor of a producer theatre “Syaroha” and it is their personal affair”.
Jury members refuse to say who they like best and who will be a favourite in the semi-final. Yadviha Paplauskaya even confessed that she did not remember all the bands and names of singers who would continue competing for a trip to Moscow. She noted that most attention had been paid to songs and singing rather than to the performances.
Yadvіha Paplauskaya: “The vocal is the most important thing; they should have an impeccable intonation, vocal mastery, expression and artistry. The artist should be in harmony with the song, they should be a unity, they should have a strong internal potential to be able to say everything they intend in three minutes. This is a song contest. Not much attention was paid to the performance this time”.
Let us remind you that the semi-final of Eurofest will take place on December 15. 5 participants will be selected there.
