PM Myasnikovich to explain what $1.5 billion was spent for (video)
The Belarusian government is preparing ‘bold’ decisions in monetary and credit policy.
The accessibility of credits will be discussed in the first place. Most producers cannot get credits which puts obstacles in the way of the development of enterprises and realisation of investment projects, the government admits. A mechanism that would make credit resources cheaper is being developed now.
The new demands and ideas will also affect the Belarusian agro-industrial complex. It will be a new economic policy and not only this, PM Mihail Myasnikovich told ONT:
"People should preserve techniques and be organized and disciplined. We are losing $1.5 billion because of it. Every penny should be saved."
It will also be discussed at the meetings the government is planning to hold in every province on Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s instructions.
