Police comment on Belarusians fighting in Donets Basin

Representatives of three Belarusian population groups are fighting in Donets Basin, head of the Chief Department for Organized Crime and Corruption Prevention Alyaksandr Azarau announced on Belarus 1 on the evening of November 29.

According to him, football fans, people with previous convictions and drunkards go to fight in Ukraine. The second group consists of former military men. The third group struggles because of their ideological conviction.

A Belarusian carrying weapons and an ID of the Ukrainian anti-terrorist operation participant was detained at Minsk railway station on November 26.
