Police “guard” buildings together with youth in Hrodna
One more action in defence of the Old Town took place in Hrodna on May 29. Our Hrodna reporter comes up with more details: “The action took place in spite of the counteraction of the police who had begun to “guard” the building of the Old Windmill even before the picket started. Young people were ready for such actions of the police, – noted one of the activists of the campaign aimed at saving Hrodna Ales Zaleuski.
That’s why the action was transferred to the Tyzenhaus outbuilding constructed in the 18th century. It is situated near the city’s central square. Young people placed a transparency with the inscription “Stop Vandals” on the building and gave out leaflets. Nobody was detained during the action.
