Police officer rescues old woman on river in Minsk
A 60-year-old woman set to drown on River Svislach in the Belarusian capital was rescued by a traffic police officer. The accident took place near the Minsk Concert Hall, when the woman tried to cross the river on the ice and broke down into the cold water, reports Belapan. The police officer initiallt threw a rope to the woman, but she was unable to take use of it. Afterwards, the officer crawled towards the woman and pulled her out of water.
